Egypt
Red Sea North & South
(all year around)
Most people know Egypt as a hot desert place with pyramids. But it is much more. Egypt is surrounded by water and the diving is phenomenal! Carlu Travel offers trips to the Red Sea all year around. The big question is do you want to go north or south?

The Red Sea North Trip is famous for historical wrecks like the Thistlegorm, Giannis D, Carnatic, Dunraven and many more. Highlights apart from famous wrecks are the national park Ras Mohammed, the Straits of Tiran and Dolphinhouse. Chances are high to encounter bottlenose dolphins at a place where BBC Blue Planet was filmed.
The Red Sea South Trip is famous for its beautiful coral gardens, swim throughs and caves. Highlights of this trip are Elphinstone and Daedalus, where we often encounter hammerhead sharks and the oceanic whitetips. Another highlight are the caves in Fury Shoal at a divesite called Claudia. Chances are high to encounter spinner dolphins in Sataya Reef, where you can swim and snorkel with them.
The owners of Carlu Travel have been working in Egypt and the Red Sea since many years. Their favorite time to go diving in the Red Sea is between June and July. That‘s when they experience the best dive conditions and the most dolphin encounters. There are over 1000 species of fish in the Red Sea, 20 percent of which are found nowhere else in the world. With it being one of the sunniest places on the planet, corals and their tiny guests thrive on an overabundance of solar energy.
